Roland SMF Player
**************************************************
Have fun with your favorite music - even if you donÆt know how to play a
single note!
The Easy and Fun Way Into the World of Music Disks (SMF data):
* Do you want to work creatively with music - but lack the musical skills?
* Did you ever want to play or sing along with a pro backing?
* Ever wished you could change the tempo or the key of a song in order to
suit you voice better?
* Do you want to be a producer for a professional band?
* What about checking out how your favorite songs were made?
* Have you ever dreamed of changing one or more instruments in the songs
you like?
NOW YOU CAN DO IT ALL!!
With Roland SMF Player you can easily load, play and edit any of the many
available Music Disks with popular music as well as jazz, rock and classical
music. The sound quality is like a CD (if you have the proper MIDI sound
module or sound card), but is MUCH more fun to work with Roland SMF
Player.
You can change any instrument in the song, change the tempo and key - or
you can mix the music according to your personal taste and adjust volume,
stereo pan and effects for each instruments. The changes can of course be
saved, so you can compete with your friends: Who can make the best ôRe-
mixö?
This new truly, entry level software is made for Roland Music Disks (SMF
disks). It can be operated and enjoyed by everyone: NO musical skills are
required.
USE ANY ROLAND, MPU OR OPL-3 COMPATIBLE SOUND CARD
Roland SMF Player will work with almost any Roland sound module or sound
card, but you may also use Sound Blaster(TM) compatible sound cards, even
though you will not have the same sound quality and editing options.

* See true song names (not strange DOS file names)
* Adjust volume, stereo pan and digital effects (reverb and Chorus) for each
